Study skills modules overview

The Study Skills Program consists of four modules. These four modules cover eight learning skills. For example the first module covers listening and reading skills, the second module covers note taking and memory skills. The third module covers master summary and time management, and the last module covers exam and success strategies.

Spreading the course over four weeks is necessary. Firstly, it avoids information over load. Secondly, it gives students the opportunity to apply these skills at school in their class rooms and at home. At home, these skills can be applied when doing assignments or when preparing for a test or an exam. This is the best way to help them consolidate their understanding about study skills.
