Academics agree that students who read well develop better vocabularies, and display superior comprehension skills.

In this module, students learn the art of active reading. They are shown how to separate key points from supporting information, and learn how to preview and summarise.

Without active reading skills, many students are likely to fall into the trap of incorrectly associating reading with studying.
